The First Pentecostal Church of Dover, Inc. respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide when you visit our website, fill out our Connect Card or make an online gift.
Information we collect
When you visit our website. You don’t need to give us any personal information to visit this site, and the site sets no cookies of its own. Like any website, the service that hosts it may log basic technical information, such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure.
When you fill out the Connect Card. We collect the information you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and any message or prayer request you include. The form runs on Church Center, from Planning Center.
When you give online. When you give through our online giving page, we may collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, donation amount, and any optional message or designation you include with your gift.
Payments are processed through Zeffy and its payment-processing providers. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- welcome you, answer your questions and help you with your next steps when you fill out the Connect Card;
- process and acknowledge your gift;
- provide donation receipts and required tax documentation;
- maintain accurate financial and donor records;
- communicate with you about your gift, our ministry, and upcoming opportunities, where permitted by law; and
- protect against fraud and comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We share information only as necessary to process donations and operate our ministry, including with Zeffy, Church Center, payment processors, technology providers, and professional advisers that help us provide these services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our organization and others.
We do not sell or rent the personal information of our visitors or donors.
Your choices
You may ask us to update or correct your contact information, request to stop receiving non-transactional communications, or ask questions about how we use your information. Please note that we may need to retain certain donation records for legal, accounting, or tax purposes.

Third-party services
Online gifts are processed through Zeffy. Zeffy and its payment-processing providers have their own privacy practices, which may apply to information you provide through their services. Please review Zeffy’s Privacy Policy for additional details. When you open the donation form on our Give page, Zeffy may use its own cookies.
The Connect Card runs on Church Center, which also has its own privacy policy.
Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
Website analytics and advertising
Our website may use the Google tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to understand how people find us and whether our online ads help them take a next step, such as planning a visit, sending a Connect Card, calling us or giving.
These tools may use cookies and collect information such as the pages you visit, your browser and device, your IP address and the ad that brought you to our site. Google and Meta handle that information under their own privacy policies. We never send them your name, email address or payment details.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, our website does not load these tools. You can also manage personalized ads in Google’s My Ad Center and Meta’s ad preferences, and block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings.
